The Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism, headed by Miguel Cascales, continues to support and encourage the artistic work of young Murcia with the notice of contest Creajoven, who turns 20 years.
This time will be eleven disciplines and may involve all young people born between 1 January 1982 and December 31, 1996 (except in Performing Arts, until December 31, 1999).
The registration period begins on March 28 and closes, depending on the discipline:
-Metal: April 16
-Drink: April 23
-Performing Arts: April 27
-Pop-Rock: April 30
-Song Author: May 4
-Photo: May 11
-Visual Arts: May 17
-Comic: May 21
-Short and Documentary: May 24
-Visual Arts: May 28
-Literature: May 31
Are awarded first, second and third prize or first prize and accesits, depending on the modalities, and the amount varies between 1,500 euros and 350 euros.
The Jury for each of the disciplines, chaired by Councilman Miguel Cascales, is composed of specialists from renowned professional, intellectual, cultural or artistic.
In their assessments take into account creativity, artistic quality and conceptual innovation.
The poster for this year's target and shows Creajoven means the effort to participate in a contest and prestigiodel Creajoven level, overcoming any act that involves creative, trying to get the best out of himself, and the maximum score obtained hitting the target.
Miguel Cascales has highlighted the massive youth participation in this event and has highlighted the effort made by the City of Murcia implement initiatives that give young people the opportunity to develop a career.
During the finals of the different modalities will be organized concerts, plays, exhibitions, media, film and culinary shows.
In addition, at the end of the 2012 edition will be published in the media publications required for each artistic discipline like music CD, literature book or catalog of visual arts, photography and visual, where both the most outstanding works.
To participate in any of the disciplines must register with the Municipal Youth, C / Reporter Carlos Valcarcel s / n, Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to 14 pm, and Monday afternoon from 17 to 19 hours.

During his 20 years, the vocations awakened Creajoven and artistic concerns, has detected new artistic values ​​and has established itself as a platform for cultural promotion, contributing to the future of artistic creativity of the municipality.
Likewise, in successive calls have been taken into account the emergence of new technologies and digital media in creative processes, incorporating new disciplines artistic reflection of reality today.
Creajoven in figures
Since its inception have involved about 30,000 youths attending the various events (exhibitions, concerts, etc) about 200,000 people.
Last year Creajoven participated in more than 1,500 young people, feel the music arrangements, with 138 registered groups, the most crowded.
A different audience attended events organized over 15,000 people.
