The Cultural Service of the University of Murcia and the Railway Company have organized the staging of "Himmelweg" by Juan Mayorga, under the direction of Paco Macia.
Based on an actual event occurred in the gray years of Nazi Germany, "Himmelweg" (Way of Heaven) is intended as a work that portrays the current situation under the past.
The director said of the work: "This work of this metaphor, the terrible things that are happening today before our eyes in many parts of the world calls a memory especially annoying and often denied or hidden."
"Himmelweg" will be staged in the Theatre Room, located on the campus of Mercy, next Thursday and Friday, 22 and March 23, in two daily sessions: at half past seven and eight and a half of the afternoon respectively.
To its author, Juan Mayorga, speaks for awards such as the Max Award for best author in the years 2006, 2008 and 2009, Valle-Inclan in 2009 or the National Theater Award in 2007.
