More than 500 people will participate in this event will bring together the leading figures of Spanish sport
The city of Murcia will host in 2013 the XXXIII National Congress of Sports Media and Sports Gala, an event bringing together more than 500 people and will feature the leading figures of Spanish sport.
Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, participated this morning in Lleida in the National Congress of Sports Media and has submitted the nomination of Murcia to celebrate this event next year, alongside the president of the Sports Press Association of Murcia, Juan de Dios Martinez.
Cascales has highlighted the quality of sports facilities in the municipality of Murcia and experience in organizing big events.
In addition, the mayor has shown a video with the main tourist attractions of the town, to encourage all members to enjoy the city, its monuments, museums, great food and good weather.
The Sports Gala awards top athletes and in 2013 provides for the presence of Olympic athletes, for this year's celebration of the Olympics in London, and players of the Spanish-for participation in Euro 2012 -.
The Sports Gala will be held at the Teatro Romea.
The congressmen know the main tourist attractions of the town, the New Condomina stadium and major sports facilities.
Also, expect more participation in the National Congress of Sports Press next year due to elections.
