Councilwoman Maria Dolores Sanchez this morning attended the seminar held at school Our Lady of Fuensanta

More than 1,300 students in the municipality involved in the 'nineteenth Campaign Disclosure Trovo in Schools in the Region of Murcia', organized by the Association Trovera 'Jose Maria Marin', with the collaboration of the Department of Education of the City of Murcia and sponsorship of the Regional Assembly.

This campaign aims to approach the younger folk verse, so they can know, understand, preserve, defend and practice.

The initiative consists of a group of minstrels visit schools in the municipality to raise awareness of this art.

The activity was held in February and March, is aimed at students in third cycle of Primary Education (5th and 6th) and the first cycle of ESO (1st and 2nd) and 1338 students from 11 participating centers.

Students attend a lecture theoretical and a practical demonstration, which interact with the troubadours.

The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, participated this morning in the day trovos held at the College of Our Lady of Fuensanta.

The troubadours that have delighted students with his verses were: Andres Marchan Rosillo 'Andres Marchan' Alfonso Conesa 'The Levant' and Elizabeth Nicholas, accompanied on guitar by Juan Noguera 'The Llanito' and Francisco Miguel Ponce 'The Harrier '.

Trovar means shaping the improvised folk poetry.
