Students in the School of Communication and Information and the Faculty of Law, University of Murcia can do internships at the company premises Public Broadcasting in the Region of Murcia, under an agreement signed by both institutions.
The agreement, signed in the building of Convalescence by the Rector, José Antonio Cobacho, and the CEO of that company public, Jose Daniel Martin, also includes the promotion of seminars and courses of interest to both parties and the implementation of research related to communication and audiovisual law, among others.
The signing ceremony has involved the dean of the School of Communication and Information, José Vicente Rodriguez, who has highlighted that the agreement opens prospects for final implementation of the School of Journalism Practice.
For his part, Martin stressed the "social cost" of public media in the Region of Murcia, in addition to indicating they pose to each citizen of the Community fifteen euros per year, which is half the average of these means nationwide.
The rector Cobacho has described as "very positive" collaboration that opens with the framework convention.
