The University of Murcia approved at the last Council of Government Policy "information security" of the institution, which gives effect to the Royal Decree 3/2010, which regulates the national security framework in the field of eGovernment.
Through this policy the University takes a commitment to the security of their information systems and defines the necessary conditions of confidence in the use of electronic media.
This new action keeps the University of Murcia in the forefront in the development of eGovernment in the university environment, a field in which pioneering initiatives have been promoted as the official record signed with electronic ID, the first university system certified scanning 2009 or the implementation of the first online site of the national university, also in 2009.
All these initiatives and measures account for greater efficiency and streamlining internal processes of the University, resulting in cost savings in line with the austerity plan that the educational institution started in 2009.
