House, this morning visited the logistics center, referred to the firm commitment of local and regional administrations, with the support of CajaMurcia and momentum of the Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Federation of Organizations of Transportation ( FROET), which has allowed a reality today Citmusa consolidated more than 50 companies located in a polygon ordered more than 450,000 m2, employs some 1,000 people.
The challenge for the coming years will be to implement the second phase of the intermodal transportation center, covering a further 400,000 m2, doubling the current size.
The expansion will allow the settlement of some 150 companies, making possible the creation of new permanent jobs in addition to those generated with the execution of the works, which will invest 16 million euros, and the subsequent construction of the ships and buildings of the companies themselves.
Also, Miguel Angel House this morning visited the new parking for 162 vehicles, which will improve the functionality of the transportation hub and facilitate its accessibility to visitors and workers.
Its construction has invested 95,000 euros.
The Mayor was pleased to see "the consolidation of a project that began in 1999 and is the result of collaboration and coordination of efforts of the Government of the Region, the City of Murcia and transport companies."
Thus, "we're strengthening a core of very important economic activity in a time of crisis, anticipating them to strengthen the productive power and encourage the consolidation of employment and activity of a key sector for our economy."

A modern intermodal logistics platform
Citmusa has two distinct areas.
One is the service center to vehicles, persons and companies, with an area of ​​67,000 m2, has shops, gas station, restaurant, hotel, office and home to FROET, plus parking for 92 70 light and heavy vehicles.

The field is completed with 79,000 m2 of green areas and sports facilities and 86,000 m2 of roads.
