The City Council takes another step forward for the transfer from the old installation to the new center
The City Council has taken another step to move the old library of La Alberca the new center, located in New Pool.
The Consistory has approved the proposal to contract the supply of equipment, with an investment of 125,000 euros.
The new space has a floor area of ​​620 square meters, compared with 177 square meters of the old library.
In addition, the new facility will feature children's room, study room, computer room and multipurpose room, independent, while the old library had all these facilities in the same space.
The new library will be equipped with new furniture such as shelves, chairs, tables and computer equipment, among other things.
It will also include security system with CCTV and cameras, and bows for secure access.
The collection will move entirely to Bilbioteca new space.
