On Tuesday 28 February, at 19.30 hours, the Chamber of the Faculty of Arts, located on the campus of Espinardo, will host the recital of poetry by Maram al-Masri, presented by Pilar Garrido and Isabelle Garcia Molina.
The event is organized by the Poetry Classroom, University of Murcia and sponsored by Cajamurcia.
Maram al-Masri is a poet who was born in Latakia (Syria), and moved to Paris in 1982, after studying English literature at Damascus.
It is regarded as one of the best poets of his generation, with a restless spirit regularly participates in numerous international poetry festivals.
His main works are: 'I threatened with a white dove', 'Cherry red on white tiles' (Adonis Cultural Forum Prize for Best Lebanese Arab creation in 1998), 'I look' and 'body signals'.
