Researchers at the Department of Art at the University of Murcia and the Foundation at Barrero conducted several Latin American countries a project to expose the unknown artistic and cultural legacy of the American continent.
The work of the research team, which has sought in places of difficult access, allowed to surface material treasures of great value as the Cathedral of Quito, the temples of Andahuaylillas Canincunca and Huaro in Quispicanchi (Cuzco), and organ of the Carmelite church of the Assumption of Cuenca (Ecuador).
Teachers at the University of Murcia and Victor Manuel Perez Sanchez Javier Martinez driving since 1998 this performance that has restored scores and musical instruments of great value, retrieve objects from jewelry and other arts and research in archives in Peru, Mexico, Cuba, Guatemala , Bolivia, Argentina and Ecuador.
The presentation of this project will be the month of May in Madrid, Murcia, Paris, Brussels, Washington DC, Mexico City, Bogota, Quito and Cuenca.
