The poet Andrew Garcia Cerdan present tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 23, at 19.30 hours, his poems `Carmina ', with whom he won the prize of poetry Barcarolle in its latest edition.
The event, taking place in the classroom Jorge Guillen, Faculty of Arts Campus of Mercy, will speak José Carlos Miralles, professor of the Faculty of Classical Philology at the University of Murcia.
Andres Garcia Cerdan (Albacete, 1972) is professor of secondary education and a doctorate in Literature from the University of Murcia.
He has published several poetry collections, among which are the enemy 'names', `Good times ',` The fourth person singular' or 'curves'.
It has also been the founder of the magazines Thader `',` desires' and 'Green Magic'.
He has won several poetry awards, including Oliver Belmas Antonio Cartagena, the Ateneo de Alicante, Chamamé Voices of Oviedo, or international poetry prize city of Pamplona.
His work appears in anthologies like 'Inland Sea', 'ardent' Iron 'Treaty', `Poetry Classroom, University of Murcia 'or` Generation Fanzine'.
