The aim is to provide quality spaces to bring physical activity to all Murcia

The Department of Sports City of Murcia, headed by Miguel Cascales, invests more than € 650,000 to provide sports facilities for citizens.

This investment will be made for the maintenance, collection, access control and cleaning of sports facilities in neighborhoods and districts.

The Governing Board, which met this morning approved the administrative terms and conditions to purchase such services in the Pavilion of Corvera, with an investment of 100,500 euros, pavilions Javalí Sangonera la Seca and New, 200,734 euros, the pavilions Alquibla Zeneta La Alberca and with a budget of 193,200 euros, and the pool Murcia-Park, with an investment of 71,065 euros.

More than 100,000 Murcia participate in any of the municipal programs offered by the City of Murcia in municipal facilities.

Murcia has 425 sports facilities, among which are 32 pavilions, 47 soccer fields, 18 and 21 heated swimming pools in summer.
