The IU-Green councilor in the municipality of Murcia Jose Ignacio Tornel has filed a motion in Parliament next Thursday, February 23, which calls for the creation of a strategic plan for the development of the city.
The proposal includes the establishment of a paper in the framework of the Socio-Economic Development Commission, whose objective is to initiate the procedures for consultation and invitation to the social and economic de Murcia for drafting the plan.
Tornel has indicated that the municipality is in a state of crisis marked by rising unemployment, job insecurity and poverty, which in his view, "it is necessary to adopt agreements of this nature that bring together the public and private effort."
According to the mayor added, "it is to concentrate efforts and ideas to help with the active participation of social and economic fabric, and all political forces and institutions, to define a model that contributes to economic growth and development."
