Liberty Avenue is hosting an exhibition of 9 pieces of large Parisian artist.
The Mayor today opened the exhibition, which will see up to 7 May.
Avenida de la Libertad, one of the most central and commercial arteries of the city is transformed today into a showroom where you can impregnate Murcia outdoor culture.
The change comes on the heels of the Parisian artist Jean Claude Farhi, who may under nine sculptures collected in a sample that comes to hand Murcia Town Hall and Murcia Future Foundation.
The exhibition consists of large sculptures, can be seen until May 7.
The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, inaugurated this morning the sample, which stands in a unique way the work that begins the show, "Lady is a Tramp".
This is a set of 9 pieces of iron ocher that offer the viewer "geometry drawn in space."
The exhibits also are the works 'Carre' ou cube ',' Over the rainbow ',' Only You ',' I have got you under my skin ',' Stormy weather ',' Cosmos ',' Emotion Triangulere 'and' Carre + rond '.
The Mayor has indicated that this new sample is added to other previously performed, like "The towers of the Alhambra", the painter and sculptor FCG, and Manolo Valdes.
Both in 2009 - were used for "take the culture of the exhibition halls bringing them closer to citizens, which are impregnated and art while enjoying the city."
The Parisian artist of Spanish descent, boasts a long career, beginning in 1959 with his first show itself in Nice in 1965, introducing metallic and industrial elements in his works.
That decade was characterized by the dominance of plastic and plexiglass sculptures, which gradually joins an optical illusion and color.
Later evolved into large-format proposals where the color is consistent with his geometric, its defining feature.
In recent years his work has been characterized by the gradual abandonment of color in favor of steel.
