The coordinator of IU-Greens in Murcia, Francisco Muñoz, announced today at a press conference that the main axes on which the new Presidency work local training are the struggle for solidarity and sustainability.
Munoz stated that with regard to solidarity, IU-Green "will be on the street permanently" with people evicted, unemployed and workers who have suffered cuts in administration.
In this regard, he expressed support for the demonstrations against labor reform because it "will bring more unemployment and poverty, and will eliminate the middle class."
"We are against the PP, with the same forcefulness with which this party has created labor reform, and fight to regain our rights have been removed at a stroke," he added.
Regarding sustainability, the municipal coordinator has opted for "a sustainable Murcia, not the brick PP has brought more unemployment and poverty", as well as creating a bike path that connects the districts among themselves and with the center.
He also emphasized the need to defend the heritage of the town, the garden and local agriculture, to increase the quality of life for residents.
New Presidency
Munoz said that the new presidency "is characterized by its youth, reflects the opening of IU-Green to the society in recent years, and pursues as its main objective the fight for the needs of the residents of the hamlets, forgotten by the city ".
He noted that the new President of IU-Green Murcia is made by Council Herguedas Esther and Jose Ignacio Tornel, which are responsible for Institutional Policy and Education and Culture, respectively.
It is also formed by Sergio Ramos (Internal Area) Ana Martinez (Women and Youth), John David Babyack (Citizen Participation and Partnerships), Maria Marin (Environment and Sustainable Development), Angel Belando (Communication and Social Networks), Alfonso Valero (Social Movements and Social Call) Marset (Education and Debate) and Jose Manuel Lopez (vocal).
