The paintings of artist Christopher Perez decorate the gala dinner, held on February 25
The Restaurant at the Casino Real Murcia (RRCM) held on February 25 from 21.30 hours the I Venetian Carnival, where more than one hundred people will carry masks and costume gala in honor of the most celebrated of the Venetian holiday.
For the occasion, the kitchen staff has designed a menu where you will be paying tribute to the cuisine of cities such as Tenerife, Venice and Rio de Janeiro, icons of the holiday.
The gastronomic consultant and trainer RRCM Qualification Center Tourism, Francisco Garcia, explains that "the menu is based on the Canarian cuisines, Brazilian and Italian, as we have attempted to grasp onto each plate the explosion of flavors and the color of the carnival" .
In his view, it is a "gala unprecedented in the region, since our goal is to move to Murcia that the restaurant is an open society where perfectly mixed arts like painting and gastronomy," he argues .
The dinner will feature a performance of oil paintings on canvas of Venetian carnival, a work by Picasso settled in Murcia Christopher Perez.
According to the painter is not an exhibition, but that "art helps to create a haunting atmosphere and transgressive."
"The idea is to move all those attending the XVII century Venice. Both with respect to clothing and on stage. Hence, the selected frames will perform a tribute to the Venetian chromatic, where predominant colors such as red or Carmine "qualifies.
The menu, priced at € 45, consists of a cocktail composed of four appetizers: 'Skewer shrimp and melon', 'octopus skewer and apple', 'Spoon tuna, tomato and baby' and 'Croquette of crab '.
Subsequently, it remains a 'salad' Rio de Janeiro'', 'crab cannelloni and sauce foie', while the main course will consist of a 'Fillet of beef with carnival colors'.
And for dessert will be served a 'cake bursting with chocolate Tenerife'.
The gala dinner will consist of a reception in the Blue Patio Casino, dinner at the Tea Room and dance back again in the Blue Patio, and that the evening will be accompanied by a DJ.
All attendees will be presented with Venetian masks.
