The Archbishop of Zaragoza held this morning in a meeting with Spiritual Directors UCAM Works Eucharistic
"The Eucharist is the heart of Christianity, the heart of the Church, the heart of the world. Simply because in the Eucharist, is present and updated the Paschal Mystery of Christ", as stated by the Archbishop of Zaragoza and Spiritual Director Spanish Nocturnal Adoration, Bishop Manuel Urena, who has spoken this morning in the UCAM on 'Celebration and Eucharistic Adoration, during a meeting held with spiritual directors Eucharistic Works, set in the World Meeting of Officers and Directors Spiritual Works Eucharistic of the Church.
The day also included the conference `intrinsic relationship between celebration and adoration in Sacramentum Caritatis' by the Bishop of Leon, and National Delegate for the International Eucharistic Congress, Bishop Julian Lopez Martin.
The Archbishop of Zaragoza has recalled with great affection his years in Murcia, and stressed the importance of this preparatory meeting of 50 International Eucharistic Congress to be held next June in Dublin.
Urena has addressed in his speech the issue of the current search for God by man, and assured that this is permanent.
"In both situations hatching, and in situations of vital optimism and extreme situations, man is capable of God because man is by nature a religious being. The image of God is recorded in man in the act of creation and therefore although sometimes this is red herring or a victim of ideology, it is always a being naturally Christian. "
Meanwhile, the Bishop of Leon, Bishop Julian Lopez Martin, stressed during his speech the close relationship between celebration and adoration.
"There is a contrast between celebration and adoration. Both are deeply related. Cree was as celebrated and celebrated as cree. Eucharistic adoration means acknowledging, in the expression of faith, of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist . This is one of the key elements of ecclesial journey, "he assured.
The morning session also included a panel discussion developed under the title 'The International Eucharistic Congress' involving Diocesan delegate for the International Eucharistic Congress in Dublin, Placido Vazquez, the rector of Religious Affairs of the UCAM, Jose Alberto Canovas, the undersecretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Juan Miguel Ferrer Grenesche, and the chaplain of the UCAM, Luis Emilio Pascual, who has acted as moderator.
Afternoon Sessions
During the day in the afternoon, the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Monsignor Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, taught in the Temple of the Monastery of San Jerónimo, the conference 'The Eucharist, love and cross.'
Solemn Closing Eucharist
Note that tomorrow, Sunday February 19 at 10:00 pm in the Parish Church of St. Nicholas, will be the celebration of Holy Mass of closure of the World Meeting of Officers and Directors Eucharistic Spiritual Works of the Church, presided by the Archbishop of Zaragoza, Bishop Manuel Urena.
