The Municipal Progress and Democracy Union in the city of Murcia, through his spokesman, Ruben Serna, denounces the opacity with which the Department of Sports acts with regard to the distribution of inputs received from the Foundation Real Murcia.
Specifically, Serna said that thanks to the sponsorship agreement of € 100 000 for the season signed between the City and Real Murcia Foundation, the club gave out tickets and Preferred Tier Lateral Tribune, whose final use has not been detailed.
UPyD Murcia last December asked the Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, on criteria for allocation and the final recipients of these tickets.
The answer given by the council only mentions that "as usual" are "associations and groups that request" without specifying further, so Serna considers that the question remains unclear: "We believe the response, two and a half months then gives a superb example of improper and forms a mayor of the City, without a clear answer to what was asked, "added Serna.
For Serna, this is an example of the lack of transparency in government in this type of agreement, and because of the loss of confidence among citizens who perceive that policy makers act as if the administration is their particular farm.
