Participants will learn to care for a bonsai and make better use of water
The Department of Environment has organized for this weekend two new classroom activities Diverde Urban Ecology.
Both will take place on Saturday between 12 and 14 hours on Saturday and are aimed at everyone, but especially to children and families.
Participation in these activities is free and no registration required (although you can RSVP by calling the phone Ecopatrimonio 968 21 25 18).
The activities are:
Exhibition and workshop "The Magic of Bonsai" (Square of Spain) - The ancient art of growing trees in small pots comes from ancient China, where the tradition established as teaching that those who were able to keep them, were assured of eternity.
With this activity, participants will enjoy the contemplation of some species of bonsai adults and closer to the basic techniques for cultivation and modeling.
This activity is conducted in collaboration with the School of Bonsai in Murcia.
Workshop "The Water Cycle do not put an end" (Garden of Fame).
Water performs a continuous and intense journey, thus allowing life on the planet: this workshop participants will understand the importance of that journey, and learn to make better use a scarce resource in the region.
