José Javier Ruiz Ibáñez, professor of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia, has been appointed new member of the Mexican Academy of History.
In this institution, of the Royal Madrid, the teacher will be a foreign correspondent members.
The Mexican Academy of History aims at conducting research within the various branches of the history of Mexico, the promotion and dissemination of historical studies and contribute to the conservation of cultural heritage of the North American country.
Ruiz Ibáñez, which belongs to the Department of Modern History, Contemporary and Latin at the University of Murcia, is also coordinator of the Thematic Network for Research on the Iberian monarchies Borders (Red Columnaria).
