Carlos Gimenez, one of the best Spanish authors of comics, will meet with academics and interested in the world of comics in the Graduate Hall School of Law, University of Murcia.
Will be Thursday February 16 to 19 hours.
The author, considered one of the best Spanish cartoonists, will talk about the film adaptation of his play "Paracuellos" within programmed activities "Comicum" Comic Aula of the University of Murcia, which direct the artists Juan Alvarez and Jorge Gomez.

Gimenez, one of the responsible adult comic book called Boom that occurred in Spain between the mid-seventies and the 80 moved into the world of cartoon many of his experiences, in series such as "neighborhood" or "Paracuellos" which reproduced childhood household social relief Franco during the war, or "professionals", which collected many of his experiences in the field of comics.
The Barcelona Comic Fair awarded its Grand Prize in 2005 in recognition of his career.
"Paracuellos", possibly his most praised by critics, will be filmed by director Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, director of "Dark blue, almost black" and "Cousins".
