Susana Hernandez: The hardest hit are the residents who lost their child because the school district works would begin immediately, while the site is still empty, the children remain in barracks and the project to rehabilitate the area knows nothing
The Socialist councilor Susana Hernández regrets that once again the most affected by the decisions of the CP are the neighbors.
Four years ago it was demolished the nursery of La Paz on the grounds of the immediate commencement of works to rehabilitate the neighborhood and as usual since then: the area is out of kindergarten, children are in portable classrooms on a site of Bacons Bridge Road and the famous project nothing is known.
In this regard, Hernandez claims that the land on which stood the old nursery is still empty and the time has also shown that the project for the rehabilitation of the neighborhood, the Socialist Group always remained as it was hand raised, is unworkable.
Wrong decisions that only hurt the residents of the area, the mayor reiterated the PSOE, who notes that "it is irrational to keep small prefabricated classroom much longer."
"It's been over four years and continue to say that this is a temporary situation is to laugh at the citizens," said Hernandez, who asked the Consistory to build a new nursery on the site which was located above or elsewhere in the neighborhood because "neither the neighbors nor the young have to keep holding this situation, the result of mismanagement of the PP".
