The Mayor attends the presentation of "Grand Illusions", the Third Festival of Magic Solidarity Foundation promoted by GMP, to be held on 16 and 17 March
The magic, clowning and humor are put back into service and social responsibility Murcia needy groups with the celebration of "Grand Illusions", the Festival of Magic III promoted by the Foundation for Development Gmp.
It will take place at the Teatro Circo Murcia on 16 and 17 March, while the Saturday evening will host the "Street Magic" in the Plaza de Santo Domingo.
Organised by the Foundation GMP, the proceeds going to launch a program of "Support for independent living of people with intellectual disabilities" FEAPS, which will provide guidance and support to 28 people with intellectual disabilities who live independently, alone or partner, or with elderly relatives.
This is the third edition of the festival, which in its two previous editions, in 2010 and 2011 was held at the School of Drama-registered 2,400 spectators and obtained a collection of 47,600 euros.
In these cases, the beneficiary institutions were Assido and inclusive leisure project for 158 people with intellectual disabilities, and New Horizon for inclusive leisure project for people with intellectual disabilities.
With this initiative Gmp Foundation advances its goal of improving the quality of people with Down syndrome, Acquired Brain Injury and other disabilities to achieve their full intellectual family, school, work and social.
The III Festival "Grand Illusions" will consist of three gala celebration of magic and performing magic shows on the street:
- Friday 16, at 21 am, gala "There is Magic" by Jorge Blass.
- Saturday 17, at 12 hours, child Gala "Grand Illusions".
- Saturday 17, from 17 to 20 hours, in the Plaza de Santo Domingo, "Street Magic".
- Saturday 17, at 21 hours, closing gala "Grand Illusions".
Intervene in the proceedings the best artists of magic, illusion and other related arts such as clowning and humor.
