IU-Green has claimed the municipality of Murcia today to develop a work plan that includes specific proposals and evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken under the special commission of Socioeconomic Development.
For Councilman leftist organization in Murcia, Jose Ignacio Tornel, it is necessary that the main priorities of this plan are met by the government team for implementation.
"It makes no sense that the city go on one side and the commission by another, because that would keep a commission of entertainment without any effectiveness," said Tornel.
He noted that the proceedings for the socioeconomic development of the city must go through the abandonment of major projects or "flagship projects" to make way for "actions less spectacular and more tangible."
On the other hand, the mayor has indicated that the government team did not submit the report of 2011 at the last meeting of the special commission Suggestions and Complaints, although the reason for the meeting was closed that year.
"The commission refers to general ideas that citizens can communicate on the model of city hall or municipal lines, but what is certain is that no particular issues."
Tornel has requested that the committee has among its objectives the analysis of data relating to service complaints and suggestions, as the volume and type of complaints, the departments concerned, the degree of resolution of suggestions and satisfaction user.
