Professor of Literature at the University of Murcia Jose Maria Pozuelo Yvancos yesterday presented the book "literary ideas. 1214-2010", by which he is director and co-authored and that represents a new volume of "History of Spanish Literature" , which is publishing the editorial review.
The book covers the formation of literary theory and criticism in what constitutes a review of the eight centuries of Spanish literature from its origins to today.
The evolution of literary ideas or changes in the tastes of the readers are central issues of this publication, well defined by the coordinator: "This volume, unique in the publishing scene and research developed in Spain in the last hundred years, offers the reader the opportunity to attend a unified way to what has been the Spanish reflection over eight centuries. "
The presentation was held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Letters at a ceremony in which, with the director of the work involved the rector of the University of Murcia, Jose Antonio Cobacho, the rector of University Extension and eGovernment, Mercedes Farias, the director of the Department of Spanish Literature, Literary Theory and Comparative Literature, Francisco Vicente, and the director of the Hall of Humanities, Vicente Cervera.
