The Bishop of Cartagena, Monsignor Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, will chair the meeting's opening Eucharist on Thursday February 16 at 19:30 pm in the Temple of San Jerónimo.

San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) held from 16-19 February, the World Meeting of Officers and Directors Spiritual Works of the Church Eucharistic, preparation for the 50th International Eucharistic Congress to be held from June 10 to 17 Dublin (Ireland).

UCAM President, Jose Luis Mendoza will open the symposium on Thursday, February 16 at 10:30 pm in the Temple of San Jerónimo, along with the president of the World Federation of Eucharistic Works of the Church, Eduardo Moreno and the Archbishop of Martirano and president of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses, Archbishop Piero Marini.

From the San Antonio Catholic University emphasizes that this important international event, organized by the UCAM in conjunction with the World Federation of Eucharistic Works of the Church gather at the Monastery of San Jerónimo church and prominent individuals worldwide experts in the Eucharist as President of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses, Piero Marini, the undersecretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Juan Miguel Ferrer Grenesche, the diocesan delegate for the Eucharistic Congress in Dublin, Placido Vazquez Peña, and Archbishop of Zaragoza, Bishop Manuel Urena, who will celebrate Mass on Sunday Closing February 19 at 10:00 pm in the Church of St. Nicholas of Bari (Murcia).
