The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has recently approved the specifications for contract renewal and updating of the Civil Protection Territorial Plan of the municipality of Murcia, a document that aims to deal with general emergencies that may arise within the geographical area due to the risks related to it.
For the Spatial Plan is a useful tool and serve as a guideline to general emergency situations, not only requires to be drafted in accordance with the specifications, but also continued to maintain it, acting on the documents that comprise it, as there is information changing it may be generating risk situations, involve an emergency situation, requiring that all changes are incorporated.
The contract provides for a period of two years from the date of its execution, may be extended annually for two years but if expressly agreed before completion, a favorable report of the Civil Protection Service.
Risks to consider correspond to natural risks (climatic, geological and climatic Geo).
It is a priority in all the work the development of Climate Risk and geoclimatic (Heavy rainfall, storms, floods and overflows channels) that may trigger the need for eviction and / or evacuation of people especially children.
There are also technological hazards such as dangerous industrial activities (storage, manufacturing) and dangerous goods transport (road, rail) and anthropic risks (public places, concentrations of people).
