The University of Murcia and the High Court of Justice (TSJ), this, on behalf of the Supreme Judicial Council, today signed a protocol that aims to encourage the practice of law students in the courts of the Region.
The Associate Dean of Students of the Faculty of Law, Gemma Garcia-Rostan, said during the ceremony, held in Convalescence, this protocol is the result of the collaboration agreement signed by the educational institution and the governing body of judges in April 2007.
The special teacher thanked the cooperation received from the judges Joaquin Domingo and Manuel Angel Rodriguez, who have benefited from university to implement the practicum, and expressed his hope that the figure will rise in order to increase the number of students are enrolled in this course.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Faustino Cava, has said that the practicum is part of the curriculum of law and that it enables students to approach the operation of the justice before ending the career.
President of the Supreme Court, Juan Martínez Moya, and the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, stressed that the agreement contributes to the formation of students.
