The IU-Green spokesman in Murcia, Esther Herguedas, today urged the council to implant the public bike system in the municipality "and gestures to stop advertising."
Herguedas noted that the initiative of the session to establish a bicycle service in nine hotels in Murcia is "a gesture anecdotal irrelevant to mobility."
"We can not understand how it begins to offer tourists a service that does not have citizenship," he asserted.
Therefore, the mayor has claimed the introduction of a system in which the bicycle "is conceived as public transport" and can be used by multiple users to get around, as happens in many cities in Europe.
"A system-with-added which would serve both visitors and neighbors."
