"Dollhouse" was the first play of Ibsen that caused a sensation.
Today is perhaps his most famous work and is compulsory reading in many schools and universities.
When published, generated much controversy, as strongly criticizes the double standards of the nineteenth century.
Although Ibsen denied that his work was a feminist, is considered by many critics as the first true feminist play.
