UPyD proposed in Parliament that the placement of a commemorative plaque at the birthplace of Salzillo (06/02/2012)

The Municipal Group believes it is a recognition of the most famous Murcia and at the same time an element of low cost tourist

The Municipal Progress and Democracy Union in the city of Murcia will propose at the next plenary is placed a plaque on the house where he was born sculptor Francisco Salzillo (1707-1783), on the streets of Murcia city Vinader.

This initiative, according to Serna, spokeswoman UPyD in Murcia, "a tribute to the figure of Salzillo" while dignifies the birthplace, and add another tourist to the city in the old town.

The house was located in the current Vinader street, next to the square of the same name.

For Serna "calls attention to Roque Lopez, a disciple of Salzillo, count on a plate but not its master."

Serna would be appropriate to place the face plate to Easter because of the importance of it and the impact of tourism originating in the city at that particular period.
