This exchange Comenius project aims to students from four European countries to reflect on environmental issues and engage in a more sustainable lifestyle
The Councillor for Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, and Education, Lola Sanchez, explained this morning to the students of Marist College Merced Fuensanta and central Wales Ysgol Uwchradd actions being carried out in Murcia to protect the environment.
Both centers participating in the Comenius project: European Environment Ambassadors, who is coordinator of the college of Murcia Jesus Egea Paya.
This initiative aims to involve European students (from Spain, Francis, Poland and Wales) in a greener lifestyle, focusing on the debate on environmental problems of the continent and the various ways of solving in each country.
Marist center working on this project since September 2010 and, as part of the project activities in Murcia will visit of a group of students from Wales who work in the project.
The meeting served to project coordinators know first hand the actions being carried out in Murcia in relation to the environment to move students Wales.
Since 2010, the Marist College Merced Fuensanta are conducting a series of activities related to the topic of the environment and coordinated among the four European schools involved.
