The American singer living in Germany, Janice Harrington, Murcia offer two concerts in one of which can be viewed at the Municipal Auditorium "Miguel Angel Clare" in Algezares, next Wednesday, February 1, beginning at 21:00 hours.
Janice Harrington is considered for years as one of the most important voices of the blues, jazz and gospel, and from their marriage to trombonist and German piano maker, Werner Guertler, took up residence in that European country from which the singer has been developing his musical activity in the last 35 years.
Janice is an essential reference in the genre as demonstrated on tour with internationally renowned musicians such as Billy Daniels, Lloyd Bridges, Frank Sinatra Jr., Sammy Davis Jr., Lionel Hampton, Rockin Dopsie, Buddy Guy, Champion Jack Dupree and Luther Allison, among others.
The American singer travels to Murcia thanks to the friendship he has with one of Norwegian musicians in other moments of his musical career, was part of the bands that accompanied it: the Norwegian saxophonist based in Los Belones, Bernt Johnsen Brinck.
His musical history is similarly extensive and has its own group in Oslo but now spends much of the year in Spain.
With them, the quartet led by the equally veteran musician Murcia, Ramon Climent, to interpret a select program topics of "blues" in the discography of Janice Harrington, and other "classic jazz", with which it promises one and a half of real show in which fans can enjoy without any doubt.
In addition to Ramon Climent on piano and Hammond organ, the quartet is completed by bassist Sergio David Valcárcel, the drummer, Raul Garcia, and drummer, Andrés Garrido.
The appointment is this Wednesday, February 1 at 21:00 pm in the Auditorium "Miguel Angel Clares' Algezares.
