A book of the University of Murcia doctor claimed figure of Luis Cartagena Calandre (27/01/2012)

Publications Service of the University of Murcia, Editum, has published a work in analyzing the figure and work of Luis Ibáñez Calandre (Cartagena 1890-Madrid 1961), a doctor who was victimized after the Civil War because of its link with the Republic.

The book was written by José Manuel Sebastian Raz, doctor also practiced his profession in Zaragoza, Murcia and Cartagena and held, inter alia, by the local chief of health in the second locality cited.

Raz Sebastian, after his retirement, he began his graduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Murcia, where he received his doctorate in 2007.

Luis Calandre, the figure discussed in his work, was a disciple of Ramón y Cajal and Juan Madinaveitia Achúcarro Nicholas, one of the first residents of the Residencia de Estudiantes, which came to practice as a physician and where he founded the Laboratory Microscopic Anatomy.

He is considered one of the introducers of electrocardiography in Spain and one of its biggest boosters.

Moreover, the University has also published "Nutrition is-ness" of José Antonio Lozano Teruel, "Foucault unknown" counts as editors and Joaquin Rodrigo Castro Fortanet, and "The interconnectedness generic narrative tradition" , whose editors Ana Luisa Baquero, Fernando Carmona, Manuel Martinez and Antonia Martinez.

Has finally released "New clues for the study of the Spanish Language", a posthumous tribute to Joseph Perona, edited by Pilar Díez de Revenga and Michelangelo Puche.
