The presidential advisor, Manuel Campos, opened today, with the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, the new sports hall of Lobosillo completes the provision of new infrastructure for sports in this hamlet of Murcia.
The head of the Ministry of the Presidency stressed that the new sports complex, located on a plot of 6765 meters square, "becomes a benchmark for the practice of physical activity, progress and quality of life for its citizens."
Campos said the "Government remains committed to regional construction and improvement of infrastructure, in collaboration with local authorities to improve the welfare of the inhabitants of the region."
The new pavilion was built near the school Professor Enrique Tierno, an investment of 604,724 euros, of which the Ministry of the Presidency, through the Basic Municipal Infrastructure Plan has provided 503,732 euros.
With an area of ​​1,403 square meters, the new infrastructure provides modern facilities to meet the sport of citizens residing in the hamlet of Lobosillo, as well as neighboring municipalities.
The sports hall has a hall, an access control area, locker rooms female, male, referees and disabled access, toilets, storage and additional rooms, among other agencies.
The property is suitable for the development of indoor sports such as football, basketball, badminton, handball and volleyball.
More infrastructure
This sports facility is in addition to two other recently built sports centers in the districts of Sucina and Los Martínez del Puerto, and the project for the improvement and refurbishment that is rushing into the arena of Gaia and Truyols.
The investment in these facilities exceeded two billion euros, of which the regional government gave 1,727,197 euros, which represents 86 percent of the total investment, and the City the remaining 279,438 euros.
