Throughout 2011, the City of Murcia, through marriages and civil service unions, has recorded a total of 588 de facto unions (375) and civil marriages (213), which have been held throughout of weekends last year.

Regarding 2012, which goes into effect the new tax, the service has received since January 1, a total of nine applications: five for unions, they will have to pay a fee of 50 euros, and four for civil marriages, which will have to pay 195 euros for the new tax.

It has also requested seven certificates of registration of de facto unions by which they will have to pay ten euros.

With respect to applications filed as of last December 31, 2011, the service recorded a total of 106 applications for marriage over 2012 Applications that do not pay the fee because they have requested before the entry into force of Ordinances Fiscal 2012.

The months available for booking date for a civil marriage are from January to July, and you can apply, while for the months of September and October, the deadline for applications will open next February.
