Although Castro supports the claim of the Treasury responsible for the Consistory of Murcia, Isabel Martinez Conesa, which calls for the Community almost twenty million euros for unpaid work and services, the socialist mayor considers it insufficient when taking into account that the money the CARM intended to Murcia is completely unfair.
Also, Castro stated that "it is more necessary than ever to establish a system of funding for municipalities that clearly defines their responsibilities and transfers of funds from the State and the Autonomous Communities".
"Competencies must be defined because it is unacceptable that the State should legislate legislate what the municipalities," said Castro, who recalls that "in the case of IBI, has been the Government of Spain has applied a precipitous rise in the tax 10%, this being a municipal tax. "
