A doctoral thesis presented at the Faculty of Sport Sciences, University of Murcia, which is the author Francisco Ruiz Agudo, has warned about "the early age of onset in acquiring the habit of alcohol consumption in both men and women ".
The study indicates that consumption of alcohol "has proven to be one of the adverse health habits most concern in the adolescent stage, occupying an important place in the leisure activities of this stage maturational own."
The dissertation, which has obtained excellent cum laude, indicates that physical activity "is one of the most important factors that have as a deterrent to consumption of these substances."
The findings indicate that "adolescents engaged in an exercise regularly consume significantly less alcohol than those who do not practice."
This research was led by professors Fernando Sanchez and Pedro Luis Rodríguez Bañuelos Garcia.
