The aim is to reconcile work and family life
With the aim of reconciling work and family in the holiday periods Integrated Children's Centre Juan Carlos I offers a Christmas School for children 3 to 16 years.
Activities began on Friday and end on January 5, coinciding with all the school holidays.
The Councillors of Health and Social Welfare, María del Carmen Pelegrin, and Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, visited the center this morning to see first hand the activities of children.
In total 125 seats are available from 8 am to 14 hours.
It is still possible to register because there are vacancies.
In addition, the City reserves 31 seats for children from Social Services and 4 places for children with disabilities.
There will be workshops on tutoring, games, crafts and dramatic expression, adapting the content to the age of the participants.
The objectives of this initiative is to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life during the school holidays to offer programming that facilitates socio leisure and recreation, fostering a climate that promotes coexistence relationships, generating attitudes and values respect and tolerance, and enhance social skills and autonomy of the participating children.
The price is 50 euros for the first fixed and € 35 in the second and successive.
Among the requirements for participation is to be registered in the municipality of Murcia and the parents are working or doing training.
