The budget for the year 2012 the City of Murcia will focus on "job creation, saving and austerity."

"With the Budget for 2012, the city of Murcia is proposed to create jobs, reduce municipal debt and contain costs and ensure public services and quality of service delivery," said the councilman.
At a meeting councilors Martinez Conesa and Pelegrin and Nuria Maruja Fuentes has held this afternoon at the regional headquarters of the PP with the chairmen of District Boards, the head of the Treasury has stressed that a priority for City Council next year will create jobs, reduce debt up to 397 per euro, maintain tax credits for families, entrepreneurs and groups most in need of protection, ensuring the best quality of social services, and modernize and improve transportation management public, all framed by an effort to contain spending. "
In his view, "are credible budgets and adjusted to the reality of Murcia," said the mayor, while the effort has emphasized the City will offer the best service to the citizens without raising taxes, despite which contributions are reduced by the State and the Community.
"We will make a considerable effort to manage earnings to avoid the reduction in funding passed on to Murcia."
In fact, Isabel Martinez Conesa recalled that the City will maintain a high level of investment to make, among others, the second phase of the coastal trade, repair of street lighting and pavement in order to achieve greater savings, construction of medical clinics Dry and Zeneta Corner, improving road and tram infrastructure as well as various districts and neighborhoods.
