The IU-Green spokesman in Murcia, Esther Herguedas, said today that 2.8 million euros earmarked by the council to the park Terra Natura in 2012 "could build six primary schools."
Herguedas has indicated that starting next year to Terra Natura is kept "equal" in 2011, which contrasts with the decline "significant" global budget of the session.
It asked the government team hires the resolution of the park "that hampers every year the municipal accounts," and recalled that the initial contracts "did not include these grants, but every year they change the goals."
Furthermore, Terra Natura has stressed that, being a private enterprise, "would be maintained with private money and not at the sacrifice of the citizens of Murcia".
On the other hand, Herguedas has stated that "before continuing to invest in cyclable routes the council should assess compliance with the Master Plan goals."
