The University of Murcia has signed an agreement with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs in the Region of Murcia (AJE) to, in the promoter of the agreement, Professor Antonio Aragon, "promote, disseminate and spread the entrepreneurial spirit among university students."
The agreement, which the University carries through Bancaja Young Entrepreneurs, who runs Aragon, logistical support enables the association AJE students who want to start a business, plus assistance also provided by the Chair.
During the signing, held in the building of the Senate, Andres Romero, president of AJE, said promoting the entrepreneurial culture is offered a job opportunity to the students in these times of economic crisis.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, concurred in this analysis and noted that the University of Murcia works to encourage entrepreneurship, which in Spain, he said, are below the European average.
The country's future, said the rector, is to create more businesses, which in turn generate economic activity, wealth and jobs.
