The budget for 2012 is 22.2 million euros
The Department of Works and Community Services, led by José Arce, will next year 2012, according to the draft budget with a total of 22,291,036 euros game mainly for the improvement of basic infrastructure in the districts of the municipality of Murcia.
Among the most important next year should be noted the continuation of the Coastal North and South, for which 9.5 million euros earmarked.
More than 7 million euros will be allocated to paved roads, streets, roads and lanes of the town, and the construction or replacement of sidewalks, improving pedestrian accessibility.
It also will continue recovering and rehabilitating areas for pedestrian use areas.
In the chapter on lighting replacement is expected to strengthen and improve the lighting fixtures replaced by LED technology, enabling lower power by increasing the level of lighting.
Murcia City Council will continue in 2012 with plans to optimize resources in public lighting.
Note that the Department of Works and Community Services began in 2008 as a cost reduction plan in lighting through the installation of the LED.
The implementation of this new technology must be added the reduction in intensity from the ignition to shutdown.
