The Solidarity Award Anonymous XII, who call the School of Social Work at the University of Murcia and the Platform of volunteers from the region, went to the priest Gaspar Fernandez Mondejar.
The award, consisting of a sculpture by Antonio Campillo, is a way to publicly recognize people who carry out an activity on a regular basis for development, humanitarian and disinterested.
Gaspar Fernandez Mondejar has been pastor of the church of Our Lady of Peace of Murcia for nearly half a century.
The event was attended by the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, the Vice President for Students and Employment, Maribel Sanchez-Mora, the dean of the School of Social Work, Enrique Pastor and President of the Platform, Roberto Barcelo.
