Seven families have today received the keys to their new homes in Corvera upon completion of the rehabilitation work carried out by the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia.
The award ceremony took place this morning with the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House and the Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, accompanied by the head of IVS, Christopher Moreno, Councilman Manuel Duran and President of the Municipal Board Ruben Solano.
The recovery of the homes, which have been delivered on a rental basis, required an investment of 336,000 euros, which was carried out within 6 months.
The set is part of a group of 50 houses in the 60's promoted.
Today the seven new tenants have been repaired after being uninhabited since 1987, when they closed the Civil Guard barracks in the hamlet, whose agents residing in them.
