San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), has this morning signed a collaboration agreement with the city of Elche, which will allow University students do their internship in the consistory of Elche, among other things.
Note that the agreement has been signed by the president of the UCAM, Jose Luis Mendoza, and by the mayor of the municipality of Elche, Mercedes Alonso Garcia.
The agreement aims to develop, promote, increase and improve the activities, materials and projects of common interest and competence of an educational nature, science and culture.
The agreement also reflects that both parties share the goals of promoting quality education, scientific research and the promotion of culture.
Similarly, it should be noted as a specific objective of the agreement, the promotion of scientific exchanges, symposia and specialized courses, and support to scientific and development of training and educational programs.
The president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza has assured that there are about 300 students studying in Elche UCAM, and more than one area of ​​Alicante.
"We desire to be useful for our students to acquire a quality education," he assured Mendoza.
For its part, the Mayor of Elche UCAM thanked the collaboration established with the agreement and said that "there are many students in our city who go to the Catholic University of Murcia to receive the education they freely choose, and in that line should be given facilities to do the practices in our city, in the council as companies de Elche "also added that" I believe that collaboration between the university and the company and the company with the university is essential ".
