The fire service of the City of Murcia have a new communications system integration that will improve the work of firefighters.
This is the modernization of telecommunications systems to integrate all the communication systems that reach the fire command center (radio, telephone, paging, intercom, voice over IP, etc..) As the analog system used currently does not.
This communications integrator optimize and simplify the job.
And thanks to this new technology the Command Center and Fire Operations Coordination will be equipped with five workstations that will touch that up to five operators to work simultaneously in case of emergency.
Also, in case of failure the job will not be interrupted.
Another advantage of this new control system is the infrastructure that will allow drive all the mechanisms and signals from the various fire stations as opening and closing of doors, gates, sirens, PA systems, video door phones, traffic lights, etc..
The Board of Governors approved the specifications to govern the procurement of this system.
With an investment of 220,000 euros and a deadline of three months.
