The Prevention Service of the University of Murcia has organized a conference to raise the university community through various activities, awareness and participation in the conservation and improvement of health.
To this end, we have prepared several sessions on nutrition, health outcomes, psychological and physical activity habits, to be held at the Social Centre, in the faculties of Medicine, Nursing and Law of 13 to 15 December.
During Tuesday's meeting, the Vice President of Finance and Infrastructure, Social Center, give you guidelines to follow to achieve proper nutrition and anthropometric custom made by taking a series of body measurements and activity data daily and sports will assess the nutritional status and needs of the individual.
On Wednesday, to be dedicated to the healthy range, will be held at the School of Nursing and Optics in testing, prevention of eye diseases and blood pressure measurements, blood glucose and cardiovascular disease.
That day the Vice President for University Extension has organized in the Social Center, talks talks which will be discussed in the methodology of sports focused on health and the benefits of healthy physical activity.
There will also be a practical session which will present the correct forms of work to improve two of the fundamental basic skills, strength and endurance.
The conference will close on Thursday with the activities prepared by the Advisory Service and Orientation Staff (CCES) of the Vice President for Student and Employment.
The Social Centre and the Faculty of Law, participants will learn how to overcome daily stress, play video games and learn to prepare healthy mocktails, among other activities.
The conference is coordinated by Professor Carmen Robles.
