More than 1,700 children aged 6 to 14 years in the municipality of Murcia may participate in free activities proposed by the Department of Education for Christmas.
The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, explained that it is smaller to provide recreational and cultural activities in school holidays, offering a schedule that combines fun and learning to improve the training person social development.
As is tradition at Christmas three sessions are scheduled film, to be held in the Cinema Rex, at 12.00, with a capacity of 500 people each day.
The films are:
- 'Gru, my favorite villain', 26th December.
Ages 8 to 12 years.
- 'Planet 51', on 28 December.
Ages 8 to 12 years.
- 'Alice in Wonderland', December 30.
For children 10 to 14 years.
In addition, there will be two sessions of each workshop, with capacity for 40 children aged 6 to 12 years and one hour each.
Be held at the CEIP Cierva Peñafiel.
The workshops are:
-Bug.
On 28 December at 12.00 hours and 29 December at 11.00.
Learn to identify small insects, their defense mechanism, will travel to their habitat and know their role in the ecosystem.
-Toy Story.
On 27 December at 11.00 hours and 29 December at 12.00.
The smallest check how experiments with different toys like a yo-yo and a ball when you boot.
They will see how physics intervenes and makes it fun.
Build their own toys and took them home.
-Journey to the Center of the Earth.
On 27 December at 12.00 hours, and on 28 December at 11.00.
The children become apprentices of geologists.
Understand geological processes, classification systems and processes of erupting volcanoes.
Learn the processes of erosion, why earthquakes and volcanoes create their own.
The Department of Education will distribute information leaflets to primary schools in the municipality, AMPAS; FAPAS, and municipal services and groups that work with children.
In the leaflet you can find invitations to film sessions.
To participate in the workshops just have to go to the shop shortly before the start time of activity.
All activities are free and places will be limited capacity.
