Improved lighting, sidewalks and prolongation of the median are some of the actions taken
The Department of Urban Quality and Infrastructure, who runs Ana Martinez Vidal, has completed the work on improving road safety and traffic access to "The Shot".
Undoubtedly, these actions will substantially improve the absorptive capacity of existing traffic, to which must be added the works of the first stage of the definitive hits, joining the current output of the A-7 and Avenida Juan Carlos I through a direct branch line will run parallel to the motorway until you reach the large roundabout executed on the avenue.
The works consisted of:
- The improvement of the firm through the extension of a surface layer of asphalt on the ramp of the link to the pass under the freeway.
- Elevation of the roundabout based on concrete pavers.
- The provision of curbs as guides to physically separate lanes traffic access from the A7 which Juan Carlos I accessed from the roundabout next to the University.
- Extension of the median to prevent left turns reckless at the entrances to the mall shooting.
- Implementation of sidewalks pending between the roundabout and the mall.
- Improved night lighting at the roundabout.
- Signalling by milestones cylindrical vertical flexible and caution lights.
- Signalling by painted horizontal sign to separate lanes and shoulders on the access ramp, and reflector on roadsides and curbs of the roundabout.
